ambient light solution

This floor lamp is lovely and the twigs are really wood twigs. It rather looks like a plant arrangement and lamp in one in my dining room. I got it as an adjunct to overhead 1 bulb chandelier which doesn't provide enough light plus it's overhead and not great for dinner party. I did have to try several different bulbs so they would not be too bright. Customer Service made a suggestion (very rapid response) and told me it's the temperature of the bulb that is important for safety. Recommended 13 Watt spiral, low temp., 2700K.
I actually think the lamp is prettier than the photo.
